Tarot Combinations

Once you have mastered the meanings then you are ready to take a more in depth look at what the cards can reveal. You are not limited to just these combinations as I have learnt many different cards mean something completely different to me. You grow with your ability.

Combinations can help clarify the information that you may be sensing. I know that when I first started reading that the combinations helped me to be able to pull the reading together to make a common thread. As you grow with your ability so will your openness to receive information from your guides, angels and other helpers.

These are common combinations just remember that there are many different ways to interpret them and sometimes it is not just literal. ie a miscarriage combination may mean:

A history or miscarriages or an abortion (pregnancies)

Someone who starts something and never finishes (pulls the plug or gives up often)

Miscarriage of justice (legal cards will be present)

Plans aborted at the last minute

So as you can see the combination leaning can contribute to many different interpretations so always remember to trust your inner guidance when you are prompted by a combination that stands out.

Just as pregnancies combinations can me new plans, starting of an idea or proposal that will come to fruition in time. All these combinations must turn up in an upright position during a reading and usually fall close together.

4 of wands & Knight of wands: foreign shores or dealings with a foreigner

8 of wands & world : Travel by plane

8 of wands & chariot : travel by road or car

Cups Combinations

Ace of cups and lovers: engagment, major commitment

Ace of cups & moon: pregnancy, birth or children

Ace of cups, moon & tower: Miscarriage, abortion, plans misfire

2 of cups and devil: Two timing, two commitments going on at once

2 of cups, 3 of cups & devil: married person having an affair (not divorced or is still in marriage and having external relations) if money cards or work cards fall with this it could be someone married to their career.

3 of swords & empress: divorce, finalisation or separation that has caused much upset or concern

8 of pentacles & empress : carer or someone who works in a female dominated area

8 of pentacles & emperor: someone who works in government or male dominated area

8 of pentacles & 6 of swords: someone that works on water or has a career involving water (sailor, fisherman, swimmer)
