Tarot Meanings
The best way to get to know the meanings is by learning simple word familiarisation. There are 78 cards and thousands of meanings but it is not as difficult as it seems.
I have been teaching people to read for over 14 years. I know it can be a daunting process with many different forms of literature out there and even millions of decks to choose from, each with their own specific meanings.
So if you want to learn a quick and easy way to getting to know your deck then this site will help you. Lets start by looking at the decks as an individual and not as a whole. This makes remembering and using your cards less intimidating. It also helps with better memory recall. (I personally use the universal rider waite deck) So divide you cards into Wands, Cups, Swords, Pentacles and then major arcana. This makes learning easier!
It will take you a matter of weeks to get to know the meanings. It will take you a little longer to trust your intuition. The brief meanings I am going to share with you are just helping you to recall your cards. When you become more proficient you will find that the cards will give you personally many different meanings when you are looking at them. Your intuition, guides and angels will also help you to delve deeper into what a particular card means to you when it falls in a reading. The learning process never really ends and you will be amazed how much a single card will be able to reveal.
