Numerology
Numbers influence almost every aspect of our lives, from when we are born to the pathways we may partake, our name, what house we live in, even to the number plate of the car we drive. Numerology is a science that has been around in one form or another and its roots go deep through various religious, mystic and philosophical origins. It has been stated that about 2500 years ago, numerology and mathematics were studied as parts of the same science. Much later, however, the sciences were split into two separate topics because numerology dealt with human psychology and potentiality.
There have been many numerology books and many different numerical systems written about over the time. Two of the most commonly taught or read are those of the ancient Chaldean – Hebrew Kabala Numerical Alphabet (numbers ranging 1-8) which, is believed to have been supposedly used eons before Atlantis. The ancient Chaldeans, Egyptians, Hindus, Essenes, and the wise ones of the Arabic world were believed to be masters of the hidden meanings of numbers. Pythagoras’s system on the other hand uses the relationship of the primary numbers 1 to 9. According to Pythagoras who is considered the father of modern mathematics, numbers hold the key to the mysteries of the cosmos.
